A new mod for Dota 2 transforms the game into an isometric arcade racer, similar to Mario Kart. Called Dota Dash, the game features some of the Italian plumber’s favourite weapons including banana peels and the infamous blue shell. It even has Mario Kart’s power sliding mechanic.
Dota Dash was created by modder BMD and the race track came from the mapper Aazarak, who also worked on the Pudge Wars, Reflex and Fight or Flight maps. BMD is currently working on creating a campaign mode for Dota Dash the lets players race across several tracks in the same session. There is at least one more track coming from Azarak and BMD is planning on releasing his tools to the rest of the community, allowing them to create their own maps.
