Double Helix may have helped Rare resurrect Killer Instinct two years ago (and then handed it over to Iron Galaxy after being purchased by Amazon), but it was also working on a “Justice League game” once upon a time.
Codenamed Green Lantern: A Justice League Game, the gameplay shown above pits Batman against Superman in a fighting game closer to Power Stone than Mortal Kombat. The video in question was originally uploaded by “ptoponline” on Youtube.
As most of you may well know, a Justice League fighting game of sorts was released the same year Killer Instinct was in 2013 – Injustice: Gods Among Us. Nevertheless, we still don’t have a Justice League game so auspiciously starring Green Lantern in the same manner.
