Dragon Ball FighterZ Ships Two Million Copies Worldwide

Ready your scouters! Dragon Ball FighterZ has shipped OVER TWO MILLION COPIES!!! Bandai Namco confirmed the news today with a message on Twitter (translated by Anime News Network via IGN).

The number includes both physical and digital copies of the game worldwide, and Bandai Namco has told us that FighterZ is the fastest to 2 million copies in Dragon Ball video game history.

This new fighting game includes characters from both the Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super franchises. It contains a roster of 24 characters, which range from Tien and Yamcha to the Lord of Destruction Beerus and Goku Black. There is also a whole new character available to play as called Android 21, who is behind the duplicate androids in the story mode, which replicate each character in the game. One thing to know is that, if you want to unlock Android 21, you have to finish all three arcs in the game.

Dragon Ball FighterZ has been a part of a great start to 2018. We’ve had multiple critical hits, such as Monster Hunter World, Celeste, and the soon to be released remake of the classic Shadow of the Colossus. FighterZ currently has an 88 Metacritic score. Bandai Namco will be releasing another fighting game, Soul Calibur VI, this year.

The game is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC
