Bandai Namco Games have released a new trailer for Dragon Ball Xenoverse, the first Dragon Ball Z game coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Previously known only as “Dragon Ball New Project“, Xenoverse is the first proper DBZ fighting game from developer Dimps since Dragon Ball: Infinite World on the PlayStation 2. Dimps are notable for developing the fan favourite Budokai series.
As well as featuring the major villains from Dragon Ball Z (namely Frieza, Cell and Buu) a mysterious new character makes an appearance, but is only shown from behind. The new fighter looks like he came straight out of a custom character creator, sporting red hair, a scouter, a Piccolo-esque cape and a Capsule Corp. jacket.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse will be available for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4. A release date has not yet been confirmed.
