Dragon Quest VIII is Coming to 3DS in Japan

<p><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;countdown-e3-square-enix&sol;">Square Enix<&sol;a> is working on a version of <em>Dragon Quest VIII&colon; Journey of the Cursed King <&sol;em>for the 3DS&period; This remake will have two extra party members&comma; Morrie from <em>Dragon Quest&colon; Monster Battle Road<&sol;em> and a female thief called Gerda&period; It also features StreetPass support and a new quests&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>Dragon Quest VIII<&sol;em> was originally released for the PS2 in Japan in 2004&period; A smartphone version came out in December&period; Square Enix launched a 3DS remake of <em>Dragon Quest VII<&sol;em> in 2013 but it was never brought to the West&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>Dragon Quest VIII<&sol;em> for 3DS will be released in Japan on August 27 this year&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Via <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;dragonquest&period;jp&sol;dq8&sol;">Square Enix <&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;
