Update: Square Enix has told IGN that Dragon Quest XI is being considered for the NX. It is not confirmed for release on the system yet.
During a livestream dedicated to upcoming Dragon Quest games, Square Enix announced Dragon Quest XI for PS4, NX and 3DS.
The company showed off gameplay for the PS4 and 3DS during the event. Here is the video that has been archived from the stream.
According to DualSHOCKERS, Square Enix has said that the PS4 version is being developed with Unreal Engine 4, which is also being used for Kingdom Hearts III.
No information has been given of a localization for the rest of the world. Dragon Quest Heroes is scheduled to release in North America on October 13th and Europe on October 16th.
