Just when you thought you couldn’t have enough Retro type RPG’s saved to your hard drive KEMCO hits PlayStation 4 and PS Vita users with a new Retro style JRPG for Sony fans to enjoy. Dragon Sinker is available now on the PSN for a mere $14.99 and if you buy it on your PS4 you get it on your Vita, and vice versa. However, if you are a PSPlus member you get 10% off during the first two weeks of the game’s release. Not too bad of a deal.
Your quest is to slay the evil dragon, Wyrmvarg. To do this you enlist a motley crew of humans, dwarves, and elves. You can enlist twelve party members and split them up into three groups. Mixing the groups around and having certain members with differing attributes can make you an unstoppable force.
KEMCO brought out all the stops to recreate the great 8-bit RPGs of yesteryear. Not only are the graphics 8-bit, they made sure the music matched the graphics. Ryuji Sasai was tasked with creating a score that matches those of Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest. The sounds will bring you back to the late 80’s and early 90’s and you think you’ll a kid again when you hear the tunes.
