<p><a href="http://www.capcom.co.jp/ir/english/data/html/explanation/2013/1st/14.html" target="_blank">Capcom&#8217;s June financial report</a> reveals that <em>Dragon&#8217;s Dogma</em> has sold over one million units.</p>
<p>The developer says that the success of the game is due to its high reception in Japan, Unfortunately, it did not fare as well in North America and Europe.</p>
<p>Capcom is adamant that more<em> Dragon&#8217;s Dogma</em> games will be made due to the sale success they have received. They declared the &#8220;stage was set for creating a series of titles.&#8221;</p>
<p>Capcom had recruited their biggest development team ever for work on<em> Dragon&#8217;s Dogma</em>, and considering the losses should the game have failed, this was risky business. Thankfully, the game is being garnered a success.</p>
<p>The publisher also took time to point out the 450,000 sales of which their other recent game<em>, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City</em>, currently holds. This game, however, received less favorable reviews from the general populace, receiving a 4/10 from sites such as EuroGamer.</p>
<p>Capcom continued to praise itself by touting the affection that <em>Resident Evil 6</em> previews gained at E3. The company also went over how their approach to DLC benefited its major titles.</p>
<p>Overall, net profits for Capcom climbed to £11 million during the April-June quota, with an increase of 300 percent. Their total gain was £151 million.</p>
