Capcom has announced that Dragon’s Dogma has hit the one million shipped milestone, which places the game in the “major franchise” category for the publisher. Without explicitly stating as much, there will be a sequel for Dragon’s Dogma.
Capcom also noted that the game set week one sales records in Japan for a new IP released within the past 10 years. The retail success of Dragon’s Dogma gives Capcom its 55th million-seller.
