Nintendo has officially blended the DS and Wii U with the DS Virtual Console! It makes complete sense since the Wii U has duel screens. Nintendo has not given a date for when DS games will be available to purchase on the Virtual Console. The most loved games such as the infamous Pokemon DS games seem like a likely choice. The only released picture from Nintendo appears to feature a Brain Age game.
