Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition Set for 2016

Techland has announced that the Enhanced Edition of Dying Light: The Following will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC starting February 9th of next year.

The Enhanced Edition will (of course) include the enhanced version of both the original game and Dying Light: The Following, as well as the Bozak Horde mode, Be the Zombie mode, the Cuisine and Cargo challenge missions, the Ultimate Survivor Bundle, and any and all updates for the game to date.

There have also been enhancements made which include:

– New NPC models

– Nightmare Difficulty

– Enhanced facial expressions

– New enemy attacks and behaviors

– Audio upgrades

And many others.

Lead designer Maciej Binkowski had this to say: “We didn’t want to follow a beaten track and just re-release our game in a new wrapping with the current DLC added on, that’s why for the last half year we’ve been working on a ton of enhancements that we’re now going to make available to everyone. We’re adding bonus post-game content, a Nightmare difficulty level, nearly 100 new animations, new NPC models, advanced AI behaviors, and more. One year after the original release, Dying Light will be even bigger.”

The Enhanced Edition of Dying Light: The Following will be priced at $59.99. However, it will be free if players own Dying Light and the Season Pass already.

A full list of changes and enhancements can be found on the website.
