Dynasty Warriors 9 is Making Serious Changes to Its Structure

<p>A lot of what holds the <em>Dynasty Warriors <&sol;em>series back for me is its refusal to progress in monumental ways&period; A lot of the gameplay has remained the same with incremental changes as each new game is released&period; To be fair&comma; I play musou games for a very specific type of gameplay which developer Omega Force has always delivered&period; However&comma; with <em>Dynasty Warriors 9 <&sol;em>they are making some of their most radical changes yet&period; You can watch a trailer above that showcases some of the big changes&comma; including an open world&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The trailer highlights some of the key changes as well as some of the returning aspects of the game&period; Battles now contain Key Missions that progress the story&comma; as well as Linked Missions that will change the tide of battle&period; There are also 90 playable characters&comma; all with new designs&comma; and each have their own endings&period; But most notable is the stuff that has changed drastically&comma; which includes an open world with places to discover and explore&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Within that open world system&comma; <em>Dynasty Warriors 9 <&sol;em>will let players craft materials&comma; train horses&comma; create weapons and tools&comma; renovate your hideaway&comma; interact with off-duty officers&comma; and visit scenic locales&period; The game will also introduce cooking as way to provide temporary boosts to your character&period; By far&comma; these are some of the biggest changes that have come to the <em>Dynasty Warriors <&sol;em>franchise&comma; ever&period; And I really can&&num;8217&semi;t wait&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Let us know in the comments below if you&&num;8217&semi;re excited for <em>Dynasty Warriors 9<&sol;em>&period; It releases on February 13th&comma; 2018 for PC&comma; PS4&comma; and Xbox One&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Source&colon; Koei Tecmo Press Release<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
