Nintendo brought back an old favorite of mine at their digital event today. Mario Tennis Ultra Smash has been revealed for the Wii U.
From the gameplay shown, it looks very similar to Mario Tennis on Nintendo 64. Even the sound effects from rackets hitting the balls sounded almost exactly identical, which had the nostalgia coursing through my veins.
We also see power ups used, like the mega mushroom, which adds a pretty interesting dynamic to gameplay.
Mario Tennis Ultra Smash is set for a Holiday 2015 release.
