The next Metroid won’t be placing you in Samus’s shoes, but after five years, another adventure in the Metroid universe will have you shooting up aliens with your friends.
Metroid Prime Federation Force will see four-player fighting together in co-op in the universe of Metroid Prime. The game will also feature a three-versus-three “sci-fi sports” minigame called “Metroid Prime Blast Ball” that originally debuted at the Nintendo World Championships.
We don’t know much more beyond that, but it’ll be coming out 2016 only for 3DS.
