E3 2016: Batman: Arkham VR Announced with Details

<p>At Sony&&num;8217&semi;s E3 press conference&comma; it was pretty shocking to see the <em>Batman&colon; Arkham <&sol;em>series show up&comma; let alone in the form that it did&period; <em>Batman&colon; Arkham VR <&sol;em>was shown in a very mysterious trailer that featured voice-over from Batman&&num;8217&semi;s nemesis&comma; The Joker&period; The VR project is being designed by Rocksteady and will be released exclusively on PlayStation VR in October 2016&period; You can check out the teaser video above and keep on reading to find out more about the game&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><amp-youtube layout&equals;"responsive" width&equals;"500" height&equals;"281" data-videoid&equals;"SwdZvJfxqtE" title&equals;"Batman&colon; Arkham VR - E3 2016 Reveal Trailer &vert; PS VR"><a placeholder href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;youtube&period;com&sol;watch&quest;v&equals;SwdZvJfxqtE"><img src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;i&period;ytimg&period;com&sol;vi&sol;SwdZvJfxqtE&sol;hqdefault&period;jpg" layout&equals;"fill" object-fit&equals;"cover" alt&equals;"Batman&colon; Arkham VR - E3 2016 Reveal Trailer &vert; PS VR"><&sol;a><&sol;amp-youtube><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The VR experience will naturally allow players to take the role of the Dark Knight himself&period; There will be a whole new mystery in the Arkham universe for players to solve&comma; involving the fate of Batman&&num;8217&semi;s closest allies&period; Players will have to think like the Caped Crusader and use the gadgets in their arsenal in order to solve the case&period; There is still very little we know about what the game entails&comma; but it will allow players to experience Wayne Manor&comma; Gotham City&comma; and the Batcave from a perspective they&&num;8217&semi;ve never been able to before&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>I&&num;8217&semi;m still hesitant on the uses of VR for a Batman story&comma; especially one in a universe where we&&num;8217&semi;ve gotten in the head of Batman multiple times without having to actually be immersed in virtual reality&period; However&comma; if anyone can make you feel like Batman&comma; it is Rocksteady and they have been very good at subverting player expectations throughout their stories&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Source&colon; Warner Bros&period; Interactive Entertainment Press Release&comma; Sony E3 Press Conference<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
