Tonight at the Bethesda press conference Arkane Studios showed off a reboot of Prey.

They showed off a trailer (above) showing what to be excepting. Gamers will be playing as a guy named Morgan Yu, the subject of experiments designed to improve the human race. You awaken aboard Talos 1 in the year 2032 and must uncover the secrets hiding down in the depths Talos 1 space station while being chased down by the mysterious alien force that have taken over. You’ll have to rely on the tools you find on the station, weapons and mind-bending abilities to combat the growing threat and hopefully survive it all.

It seems that Bethesda is now in the business to publish reboots as earlier this year the released Doom developed id Software. Now they will be publishing Prey as well. It is interesting what they are doing with their publishing powers.

Last year Bethesda said they were not happy with what Humanhead was doing with Prey 2, so it seems they canned the project and now decided to go with a reboot instead.

More about the game will be reveled at about the game at Quakecon later this year. Prey will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2017.
