E3 2016: EA Conference Liveblog/Recap

Electronic Arts, EA, E3

(Electronic Arts)

Hey everyone! Logan here, covering live updates on EA’s press conference. Keep it locked here and refresh for regular updates, images, and official BagoGames thoughts on each and every announcement!

Electronic Arts is skipping out completely on having a booth at E3 2016, which is the first time they have done that since coming to the show. However, they are not skipping E3 altogether. While they gave up their normal press conference timeslot on Monday (which is now being filled by the PC Gaming Show), the show will still go on! Instead, EA is now having their briefing on Sunday, June 12th at 4 PM ET. Instead of a booth, the publisher has rented out Club Nokia near the convention hall, and will be hosting an event entitled EA Play which will be focused more around the players than the press.

EA has already teased the presence of games like Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2, so you can definitely expect those shooters to make an appearance. It is also no surprise that EA Sports titles will have their presence known, but hopefully we don’t get an extremely long and awkward interview this year. Other highly anticipated titles include Mass Effect: Andromeda and whatever Star Wars title they could possibly conjure up. Follow along with the liveblog below for up to the minute updates on Electronic Arts’s briefing.

All times will be PST.
