E3 2016: First Gameplay, New Info for Pokémon Sun and Moon

<p>Nintendo finally showed off some gameplay and revealed some new features and information about the upcoming <em>Pokémon Sun <&sol;em>and<em> Moon<&sol;em> games&period; Coming this November to 3DS&comma; the latest <em>Pokémon<&sol;em> games look to at least shake things up in regards to visuals by heading to the tropical islands of Alola&period; <em>Pokémon<&sol;em> games have all tended to be based on regions of Japan&comma; so it has been interesting to see how the developers have moved regions to islands based on Hawaii&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The gameplay showed off the vibrant and lush tropical region&period; Alola has an increased color palette over previous entries&period; One thing that stood out was the change to how the camera acts during battle&comma; offering more sweeping pans and making for a more cinematic feel during fights&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><amp-youtube layout&equals;"responsive" width&equals;"500" height&equals;"281" data-videoid&equals;"9Ojd6FzTaEM" title&equals;"Meet New Pokémon and Discover Battle Royals in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon&excl;"><a placeholder href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;youtube&period;com&sol;watch&quest;v&equals;9Ojd6FzTaEM"><img src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;i&period;ytimg&period;com&sol;vi&sol;9Ojd6FzTaEM&sol;hqdefault&period;jpg" layout&equals;"fill" object-fit&equals;"cover" alt&equals;"Meet New Pokémon and Discover Battle Royals in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon&excl;"><&sol;a><&sol;amp-youtube><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>A new feature to the game is a mode called Battle Royal&comma; which involves 4 trainers facing off against each other at the same time&period; Each trainer chooses 3 pokémon for the fight and then sends them in&comma; one at a time&period; The battles end when one trainer has had all 3 of their fighters knocked out&period; The game then totals who had the most KOs and how many pokémon they had left&period; This looks to be a very exciting new way to battle with others&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>A few new pokémon were revealed as well&colon; Pikepek&comma; Yungoose and Grubbin&period; All three of these were basic pokémon&period; Pikepek is a Normal and Flying-type pokémon&comma; Yungoos is a Normal-type&comma; and Grubbin is a Bug-type&period; A final mythical one&comma; Magearna&comma; was revealed&period; The interesting thing involving Magearna is that&comma; in the game&comma; you have a QR scanner function&comma; and Nintendo will be distributing QR codes after release for trainers to acquire and scan to receive this legendary creature&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>Pokemon Sun<&sol;em> and <em>Moon<&sol;em> will arrive in North America on November 18th&comma; 2016 on the Nintendo 3DS&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Source&colon; <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;e3&period;nintendo&period;com">Nintendo Treehouse Live<&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
