E3 2016: Sony Reveals Star Wars Game for PlayStation VR

<p>During the Sony press conference&comma; they showed off some of the titles that are coming to the PlayStation VR&period; One of which was a new <em>Star Wars<&sol;em> game called <em>Star Wars Battlefront&colon; X-Wing VR Mission<&sol;em>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Criterion is going to be putting players right into the cockpit of an X-Wing fighter jet&comma; something I think we have all dreamed of doing since 1977 or whenever you saw the original <em>Star Wars<&sol;em> for the first time&period; Virtual reality is making these type of dreams come true for gamers&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The clip that was shown during the E3 press conference was very short&comma; but it gave us all we needed to see as the team of X-Wings flew into combat with Tie Fighters out in space&period; That was all that was shown&comma; but there was a Star Destroyer in the background so it is fathomable that you will be going up against those at some point as well and perhaps some dog fights on different planets&period; Not much is known about this game right now&comma; but there is sure to be more announced soon&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The game will be free for everyone that already owns a copy of <em>Star Wars Battlefront<&sol;em> on the PS4 and is said to release later this year exclusively on the PS4&comma; although no date has been announced as of yet&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Source&colon; Sony E3 Press Conference<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
