An E3 trailer for Styx: Shards of Darkness has recently dropped. A stealthy sequel to Cyanide Studios’ Master of Shadows. This time, the game will have a bigger production, a bunch of new features, and will be using Unreal Engine 4.

The trailer shows some gameplay along with letting gamers know a little about what Styx will be after this time around. He is going after the highly-coveted ambassador’s scepter, but finds it may be more trouble than it’s worth. Styx is made an offer he can’t refuse by a Human officer named Helledryn to get the scepter.

As Styx, gamers will be sneaking around trying to stay clear of many different races such as Dwarves and Elves using all that he has on his side such as amber powers, talents and skills, equipment, and crafting. Each race has their own ability that will make getting around undetected hard to do. For example, Dark Elves are experts at Goblin hunting and Dwarves have a great sense of smell, meaning they will be able to track you down much easier.

Styx: Shards of Darkness is set to release sometime this year for PC and consoles. Not much has been revealed at this time, but rest assured more will be brought to light about this game at E3 this year.
