E3 2017: Bioware’s New IP, Anthem, Announced

<p>Bioware had a small presence at EA Play&comma; EA&&num;8217&semi;s press conference for E3 2017&period; There was no mention of current IPs that they have like <em>Dragon Age <&sol;em>and <em>Mass Effect<&sol;em>&comma; but the company teased a brand new project titled <em>Anthem<&sol;em>&period; More footage will come at tomorrow&&num;8217&semi;s Xbox Briefing&comma; but there is a teaser trailer which you can watch below&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><iframe width&equals;"560" height&equals;"315" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;youtube&period;com&sol;embed&sol;wi0Uq7QmKm4" frameborder&equals;"0" allowfullscreen><&sol;iframe><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The trailer sets up a walled off civilization surrounded by overgrown jungles filled with creatures and ruins&period; There isn&&num;8217&semi;t much to go on until tomorrow&comma; but it definitely gave me a lot of <em>Titanfall <&sol;em>vibes in its aesthetics&period; The game will be more action oriented than their previous efforts it seems&comma; as the game was originally discussed <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;polygon&period;com&sol;2017&sol;5&sol;9&sol;15600638&sol;bioware-new-ip-delay">during an investor call back in May<&sol;a>&period; While the game hasn&&num;8217&semi;t had its release date announced&comma; the same investor call brought the news that the new IP would not be released until EA&&num;8217&semi;s 2019 fiscal year&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>We&&num;8217&semi;ll have more information about <em>Anthem <&sol;em>when it shows up again at Microsoft&&num;8217&semi;s E3 briefing tomorrow&comma; June 11th&comma; but until then let us know in the comments section below what you think of <em>Anthem<&sol;em>&period; Are you excited for a new Bioware IP&quest; Stay tuned to BagoGames throughout E3 2017 for more coverage of the show&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Source&colon; EA Play Conference<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
