Bioware had a small presence at EA Play, EA’s press conference for E3 2017. There was no mention of current IPs that they have like Dragon Age and Mass Effect, but the company teased a brand new project titled Anthem. More footage will come at tomorrow’s Xbox Briefing, but there is a teaser trailer which you can watch below.

The trailer sets up a walled off civilization surrounded by overgrown jungles filled with creatures and ruins. There isn’t much to go on until tomorrow, but it definitely gave me a lot of Titanfall vibes in its aesthetics. The game will be more action oriented than their previous efforts it seems, as the game was originally discussed during an investor call back in May. While the game hasn’t had its release date announced, the same investor call brought the news that the new IP would not be released until EA’s 2019 fiscal year.

We’ll have more information about Anthem when it shows up again at Microsoft’s E3 briefing tomorrow, June 11th, but until then let us know in the comments section below what you think of Anthem. Are you excited for a new Bioware IP? Stay tuned to BagoGames throughout E3 2017 for more coverage of the show.
