E3 2017: Crackdown 3 to be Released in November

Yesterday, Microsoft finally showed more of Crackdown 3 at their Xbox Media Briefing with special help from Terry Crews. The superpower, crime fighting action game is finally going to be released on November 7th, 2017 for Xbox One and Windows 10. Plus, it will star Terry Crews as Commander Jaxon, so lets just take a moment to celebrate that. Check out the trailer above for footage of the game in action.

Crackdown 3 will release alongside the Xbox One X, and will be an Xbox Play Anywhere title. The trailer showcases the mayhem that players will incite with a wide arsenal of weapons and powers. Touting up to four-player co-op, one of the series’ biggest features is letting carnage reign with friends and this iteration is not going to slouch on that aspect.

One of the more noticeable features missing in this trailer is its lack of destructible environments. Specifically, when the game was first announced, it was said it would have destructible buildings and utilize the “power of the cloud”. None of that seems evident in the trailer, but it still looks highly stylized with tons of explosions. I’ll be curious to see if they backtracked on some of the destructibility.

Regardless, we’ll likely find out more this week as E3 2017 continues, so stay tuned to BagoGames for more announcements and coverage!
