E3 2017: Creation Club for Fallout 4 and Skyrim Announced

Bethesda has announced Creation Club, an online marketplace for Fallout 4 and Skyrim that will feature all-new game content, including weapons, armor, locations, companions, pets, crafting items, and more.

Similar to Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls Online digital marketplace, you’ll be able to access the Creation Club while in-game on either console or PC. Credits are transferable between games on the same console. This means you can purchase them in Fallout 4, buy some cool gear for your settlement, then transfer the remaining balance to Skyrim for a sweet new mount.

Players can take part in creating content for their favorite games. Bethesda is accepting pitches for brand new content from artists and modders. To apply, you can go to the Creator application and submit links to any previously developed game content and social media accounts. If approved, you’ll be paid for your contribution and allowed to refine your content throughout the development process.

Bethesda will continue to allow free mods in both games, but Creation Club offers modders the opportunity to become a part of the internal development process. For players, Creation Club will provide content that is designed to be fully compatible with the games and their official add-ons, including all trophies and achievements.

We can expect to see Creation Club this summer on PS4, Xbox One, and PC for both Fallout 4 and Skyrim Special Edition.
