E3 2017: Doom VFR Brings Its Own Personal Hell to Virtual Reality

<p>Bethesda announced at its E3 conference that it would be bringing both <em>Fallout 4 <&sol;em>and <em>Doom <&sol;em>to virtual reality&period; Well&comma; they announced it last year&comma; but this year they showed them both off and gave a 2017 release date for both&period; <em>Doom VFR <&sol;em>is coming to both PlayStation VR and HTC Vive later this year&comma; and will offer a new story and perspective in the <em>Doom <&sol;em>universe&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><iframe width&equals;"560" height&equals;"315" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;youtube&period;com&sol;embed&sol;JYOasB6aI&lowbar;A" frameborder&equals;"0" allowfullscreen><&sol;iframe><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The game still takes place within the UAC Facility from the 2016 hit game&comma; but players will be a cybernetic survivor of the demon onslaught that is activated by the UAC to fight off all of the demons both in the facility and in Hell&period; You will be tasked with repairing the UAC so that it is back to operational stability&period; The trailer above shows off some of the new ways you&&num;8217&semi;ll interact with the game&comma; including teleportation and jet-strafing that works as your movement&period; You&&num;8217&semi;ll still shoot a lot of demons though with the same iconic weapons you&&num;8217&semi;ve come to love&period; But the trailer also shows a level of interactivity that simply wasn&&num;8217&semi;t present in the 2016 game&period; <em>Doom VFR <&sol;em>looks like it has the potential to be a great virtual reality experience in the <em>Doom <&sol;em>setting&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Originally&comma; the game was only announced for HTC Vive back at E3 2016&comma; but this year <em>Doom VFR <&sol;em>will be coming to both HTC Vive and PSVR&period; Perhaps we&&num;8217&semi;ll see its presence again at Sony&&num;8217&semi;s E3 conference later today&period; For now though&comma; stay with BagoGames as we provide coverage for all the latest E3 2017 announcements&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Source&colon; Bethesda E3 Conference&comma; Bethesda Press Release<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
