E3 2017: Kingdom Hearts 3 Trailer Unveiled During World Tour Concert

<p>Square Enix and the series director&comma; Tetsuya Nomura&comma; revealed a new trailer for <em>Kingdom Hearts 3<&sol;em> at the World Tour concert&period; The trailer also announced that there will be a new world and trailer unveiled at D23 Expo next month&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><iframe width&equals;"560" height&equals;"315" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;youtube&period;com&sol;embed&sol;eaHSpUZgW24&quest;ecver&equals;1" frameborder&equals;"0" allowfullscreen><&sol;iframe><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>This trailer gives new significant story details&comma; such as Maleficent and Pete looking for a &&num;8220&semi;black box&&num;8221&semi;&comma; with Sora having to face the darkness in his heart to save Roxas&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Also featured heavily is the world based on <em>Hercules&comma; <&sol;em>Mount Olympus&comma; which makes a lot of sense if you have played <em>Birth By Sleep 0&period;2<&sol;em>&period; Many different locales were shown off in a more open world than previous titles in the series&period; Hercules also joins as a party member for the first time in <em>Kingdom Hearts&period; <&sol;em>Another first is the inclusion of 4 party members rather than the limit of 3&period; To add a little speculation&comma; perhaps this gives more leeway for more party members to be included&comma; like the Big Hero 6 rather than just the one or two available&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<figure id&equals;"attachment&lowbar;126486" aria-describedby&equals;"caption-attachment-126486" style&equals;"width&colon; 1366px" class&equals;"wp-caption alignnone"><img class&equals;"size-full wp-image-126486" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;cdn&period;bagogames&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2017&sol;06&sol;11231719&sol;Kingdom-Hearts-3-2&period;jpg" alt&equals;"" width&equals;"1366" height&equals;"768" &sol;><figcaption id&equals;"caption-attachment-126486" class&equals;"wp-caption-text">&lpar;Kingdom Hearts 3&comma; Square Enix and Disney&rpar;<&sol;figcaption><&sol;figure>&NewLine;<p>The combat is looking fast and fluid in this trailer&period; <em>Kingdom Hearts 3<&sol;em>&&num;8216&semi;s battle mechanics are shown&comma; as well as past mechanics such as Shotlock and Flowmotion&period; Weather effects have been added as well&comma; and the game&&num;8217&semi;s visuals have been improved since past trailers&period; Hades&comma; Pete&comma; Maleficent&comma; Ansem &lpar;Xehenort&&num;8217&semi;s Heartless&rpar;&comma; and Xemnas were all presented in the new engine and they look fantastic&comma; especially the first three with an eye popping animated look&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The trailer was debuted at Square Enix&&num;8217&semi;s Kingdom Hearts Orchestra World Tour concert&period; As the name entails&comma; there have been multiple shows of an orchestra playing Yuko Shimomura&&num;8217&semi;s Kingdom Hearts music throughout the world&period; Los Angeles was its first American stop and will continue tonight and on the 14th&comma; as well as New York on June 23rd and 24th&period; The concert also shows exclusive scenario scenes for the series&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>More news will be shared at Disney&&num;8217&semi;s D23 Expo in Anaheim on July 15th&comma; Square Enix confirmed at the end of the trailer&period; A new world and a new trailer will be revealed at the event&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>Kingdom Hearts 3<&sol;em> still has not received a release date but <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;way-e3-2017-kingdom-hearts-3&sol;">recent rumors<&sol;a> <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;way-e3-2017-kingdom-hearts-3&sol;">point towards a 2018 release date<&sol;a>&period; Let&&num;8217&semi;s hope we hear more from next month&&num;8217&semi;s D23 Expo&period; Let&&num;8217&semi;s cross our fingers&excl;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Source&colon; <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;youtube&period;com&sol;watch&quest;v&equals;eaHSpUZgW24">Kingdom Hearts YouTube<&sol;a><&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
