E3: Details on Mario Kart 8 Revealed

<p>Amongst the very low key Nintendo Direct presentation was an in between excitement dose of a trailer for Mario Kart 8&period;  In this installment things from both Mario Kart Wii and Mario Kart 7 were smashed together along with familiar power ups to use during racing&period;  Motorcycles were brought back&comma; the hang gliders from Mario Kart 7 were also brought in&comma; as well as the new ability to drive upside down and some hover jets&period;  They hover jets make it easier to maneuver over rough terrain and other obstacles plus speed ahead of the competition&period;  You can still drive underwater and some of the recurring drivers such as Waluigi&comma; Peach&comma; Daisy&comma; Bowser&comma; Donkey Kong&comma; and others make a comeback&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The game is set for a Spring 2014 release&period;  You can check out more footage of the game in the trailer below&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>http&colon;&sol;&sol;youtu&period;be&sol;DFlsrXU2NM8<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&lbrace;Source&colon; <strong>Nintendo<&sol;strong>&rcub;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
