Electronic Arts announced today that Starbreeze Studios is working on a “reinvention” of the cult-classic Syndicate franchise. The game will be spearheaded by a brand new development team from the acclaimed studio Starbreeze Studios that brought us games like The Chronicles of Riddick and The Darkness. The game will deliver a “unique and brutal sci-fi first-person shooter experience” set in the year 1969 where three Mega-Corporations, Eurocorp, Cayman Global and Aspari, are all vying to take-over the American Market at any cost. Players will assume the role of protagonist Miles Kilo, a prototype agent of Eurocorp’s, who possesses the ability to slow down time and and take out enemies with precision because of the Dart 6 Bio-chip implanted in his head. Guide him on an brutal and epic adventure full of deceit, revenge, and corporate espionage.
