The new powerful, almighty version of SimCity only launched yesterday in the US but already the game has been plagued with problems with some gamers not even able to access the games servers, leaving them with a game they can’t play.

Although this was apparently due to the servers collapsing because of “overwhelming demand”, a big title launch such as SimCity should had considered this. The game requires a constant internet connection meaning that this could had been foreseen and addressed during development… surely?

Origin chipped in saying that they were “making changes to prevent future issues” which is good news for UK gamers who should be able to play the game from this Friday.

Fingers crossed eh?
