Ed Annuziata, creator of the original Ecco The Dolphin on the Sega Mega Drive, has launched a Kickstarter campaign hoping to fund a spiritual successor of the game which is due to be released in early 2014.
The precise release date is the 22nd April 2014 whilst the game will be called The Big Blue. The game itself will also launched on PC, Mac, iOS and Android platforms. Ed Annuziata hopes to raise $665,000 to fund the game and at the moment it currently stands at $15,507 with 33 days remaining.
