The newly revealed Elder Scrolls Online will have three playable factions. The Daggerfell Covenant, made up of Bretons, Redguards, and orcs is based in and around High Rock, where capital city Daggerfall is found as well as Hammerfell.
High Rock is situated to the west and a bit south of Skyrim. The coastal location has a more temperate climate compared to the north, Bretons and orcs live here primarily. Hammerfell is south of both High Rock and Skyrim and is mostly deserts, mountains and flat grasslands. This is the area that the Redguard calls home.
The Game Informer feature that reveals the new Elder Scrolls Online details states that the Daggerfall Covenent is “a lot more democratic than” the other factions. The “ruthless” Aldmeri Dominion will be highlighted next, stay tuned for further details.
