Electronic Arts and Ubisoft announce Origin and Uplay deal

<p>Electronic Arts and Ubisoft have announced a deal which will see Ubisoft games become available on EA&&num;8217&semi;s digital service Origin&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The digital PC versions of Ubisoft titles such as <em>Assassin&&num;8217&semi;s Creed III<&sol;em> and <em>Far Cry 3<&sol;em> will be made available to PC gamers on EA&&num;8217&semi;s Origin service&comma; with North American users already having access to the games while users in Europe and Asia will have to wait until tomorrow&comma; 22nd February&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The deal between the two companies also works the other way around&comma; as Electronic Arts is now bringing its titles to Ubisoft&&num;8217&semi;s digital service Uplay&period; Selected EA games such as <em>Dead Space 3<&sol;em> and <em>Mass Effect 3<&sol;em> have already been made available worldwide on the Uplay shop&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;The heart of any valuable gaming service is delivering all the great content that players want&comma;&&num;8221&semi;  said Michael Blank&comma; Vice President of Production for Origin at EA&comma; in a press release&comma; &&num;8220&semi;and the addition of Ubisoft’s top PC titles on Origin&comma; as well as EA’s titles to Uplay&comma; is a big win for all of our players&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Chris Early&comma; Vice President of Digital Publishing at Ubisoft&comma; added&comma; &&num;8220&semi;Making our biggest franchises like Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry available on Origin is a great way of exposing even more PC gamers to these great titles and giving them another choice in where and how they buy their games&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
