Whilst Nintendo are struggling to get retailers/developers on side with their next generation console, Sony seem to be getting compliments by the bucket load from retailers and developers alike regarding the PlayStation 4, a console not even available as of yet.

The next console from Sony is, if GameStop are to be believed, due to launch worldwide this holiday season and if Mark Rein, Vice President at Epic Games, is to be believed then it is going to be worth the wait!

Speaking to CVG, Mark Rein made numerous comments about the new console, most of which we’ve listed below for your reading pleasure:

“Let’s not forget it has 16 times the memory we had in PlayStation 3”

“It’s like giving you the world’s best PC”

“The things that make it as fun and easy to get a PS4 game as it is to get a game on your iPad”

“I think it’s a very smart move on Sony’s behalf to build this sort of enhanced PC architecture and then put so much in it”
