<p>EPIX, a an entertainment and service provider, will have an app coming out for the PS3 within the first quarter of this year plus an app for the Vita, being released sometime in the second quarter.</p>
<p>The app will be made available for free and those who are already subscribers of the EPIX service will have access to movie content which they can enjoy on their device. As described on the <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/2013/01/03/introducing-epix-for-ps3-and-ps-vita-movies-concerts-sports-and-more/">PlayStation.Blog</a>, &#8216;3,000 new release and classic feature films, world-class concerts, comedy specials, sports, and other original programming&#8217; will be made available. So far, the service seems it will only be accessible in the US.</p>
