Antoine Fuqua’s latest action picture The Equalizer, starring Denzel Washington, ranked in an impressive gross for the end of September with $35,000,000. That’s the fourth-highest #1 ranking for the month ever. Trailing behind was The Maze Runner in its second week with another $17,500,000 gross and the new animated film The Boxtrolls even closer with $17,250,000. The rest of lot all finished out the weekend in the single-digit millions. Worth noting is that Guardians of the Galaxy crossed over $319,000,000, placing it over the first Iron Man movie for domestic box-office. See the full results below:
