NIS America has announced that they are teaming up with Atlus to publish Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan throughout Europe this summer. The game will be available for physical and digital purchases, but we will wager that physical copies will be limited given the type of game Etrian Odyssey is.
For those that may not know, the Etrian Odyssey series is a shout out to old school dungeon-crawling RPGs. First-person perspective? Check. Challenging turn-based combat? Check. Pen-and-paper style mapping system? Check.
Along with 3D visuals and an extensive character development system, Etrian Odyssey IV is the first game in the series with a Casual difficulty system for newcomers.
A demo, which includes 2 dungeons to explore, will be released shortly before the full games launch.
