Tank! Tank! Tank! Was a strange game and a difficult decision for many when the Wii U originally launched towards the end of 2012. A game based on the hit arcade tank game where gamers sit in seats and have their face entered into the game whilst they control tiny tanks and begin shooting the living daylights out of all sorts of monsters was deemed fun but not as much fun as the £39.99 asking price was at the time.
This could all be due to change however as Tank! Tank! Tank! Is going free to play as a “Basic Pack” which includes three modes (Monster Battle, Free-For-All and Team Versus) which can be played up to three times each day. If gamers enjoy the game and would like to unlock more areas/content then they can do through DLC.
The game itself apparently consists of 12 pieces of add-on content which range from £1.59 to £7.99 in price (even at the cheapest price this makes the game close to the current retail price going for the game online so be careful here) so only time will tell how successful this model will be with Wii U gamers.
Will you be trying the demo out at all?
