In EVE: Valkyrie, the player is put in the cockpit for team-based multiplayer dogfighting, utilizing VR technology to bring a uniquely authentic fighting and flying style. The game will also feature Katee Sackhoff as Rán Kavik, the leader of the Valkyrie pilots, as well as three new fighting ships with potential for customization with new weaponry, equipment, and other features.

The new ships are the

– Wraith Mark II, a ship with a fine balance of precision striking as well as sheer brawn for countering enemy weapons

– Spectre Mark I, a powerhouse of heavy armor and hard-hitting weapons meant to hold up under duress during point-defense maneuvers, and

– The Banshee Mark I, a deadly quick and light ship ideal for support with rapid response and a panoramic cockpit to enhance tactical awareness.

EVE: Valkyrie is part of a bundled pre-order deal for the Oculus Rift, which is available now on the Oculus website. The game will also be made available for Sony’s Project Morpheus.

More information on the game can be found on their website.
