EVE: Valkyrie and Gunjack Releases for the Oculus Rift on PC

CCP Games has made an exciting announcement as EVE: Valkyrie, the much awaited VR multiplayer dogfighting shooter, and Gunjack – a top-selling VR arcade shooter previously released on Samsung Gear – have both been released for the Oculus Rift platform on PC.

This is just the beginning of our plans for virtual reality,” said Hilmar Veigar Pétursson, CEO of CCP Games. “Our goal has always been to create the most immersive virtual worlds, and VR now gives us a powerful new tool to achieve that.”

EVE: Valkyrie is set deep in the lawless regions of the EVE universe where the Valkyrie are a mercenary faction led by the enigmatic Rán Kavik (voiced by Katee Sackhoff). Their goal is simple: to make some money whilst quenching their thirst for vengeance and conquests as they take out rival pirate bands along the way.

CCP Games will be supplying the game with continuous updates for new maps, ships, and modes in cooperation with the game’s Founders.
