Despite there having been no official announcement, rumours surrounding the release of a collection of games from the Hitman series have been doing the rounds for many months, and now fresh evidence suggests that such a release will happen very soon.
Amazon has listed Hitman Trilogy HD as being available for pre-order on both PS3 and Xbox 360. The collection, which contains high-definition versions of Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Contracts, and Hitman: Blood Money, is listed with a release date of 29th January 2013 and a price of $39.99.
Square Enix’s reaction to the listing has been to state that the company cannot comment on rumour or speculation.
