Friday the 13th is coming up, which means you can spend October living through a horrible nightmare as Sebastian Castellanos in The Evil Within 2. A new launch trailer has been released to prime you for the game, but it’s less a primer on the story and more on the atmosphere, set pieces, and enemies that you’ll face throughout the sequel to Shinji Mikami’s 2014 game. Check out the trailer above.

The Evil Within 2 is being developed by Tango Gameworks, Mikami’s studio, and published by Bethesda Softworks. This is just one of two big titles that Bethesda is releasing this month with the other being Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. The game was not developed by Shinji Mikami, unlike the original, but still featured supervision from him which you can definitely still feel in the game’s trailer. There are plenty of set pieces and moments on display that feel like Mikami’s blend of horror and arthouse that made The Evil Within the weird game it was.

This time, players will be leading Sebastian on a hunt to save his daughter Lily, who has disappeared years ago but now he must save before they are both lost in STEM – created by Mobius. The Evil Within 2 releases on October 13th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Let us know in the comments below if you’re going to be picking up The Evil Within 2 when it launches this Friday!
