After a short presentation and an intense 20 minute, hands-on demo (documented in an upcoming feature) I got to sit down with Turtle Rock’s head of Community and Esports, Josh Olin, who gave me the low down on the hottest game at PAX East.

In part 1 of this 2 part interview, we talk about balancing 4v1 multiplayer, monster attributes, and the progression system. Watch Part 1 above!

In part 2, we chat about the hunter health system, online matchmaking, environments, the campaign mode, and split-screen.
