Indie game studio, Iron Galaxy, and publisher Modus Games are pleased to announce that Extinction will be released April 10th, 2018.
Pre-orders are available now for the standard and deluxe editions. The standard edition is available for £54.99/€62.72/$77.82 and the Deluxe Edition, which includes the ‘Days of Dolorum’ season pass, is available for £64.99/€74.12/$91.97. Digital pre-orders will be available in early February. Players who want to purchase the season pass at a later will pay £12.99/€14.81/$18.39.
The game features intense skill-based combat that’s not for those with a weak stomach. You’ll have to cross the terrain with precision while delivering overwhelming attacks on your enemies.
Players take on the role of Avil, the last of the legendary Sentinels, and the only warriors capable of defeating the Ravenii and saving the human race. Rescue as many people as possible and take down brutal opponents who want nothing more than to destroy you and your world. Progress along different skill trees to develop a path best suited to your playstyle, and complete numerous side quests with various objectives to earn upgrades to aid you in your quest to save humanity. Travel horizontally and vertically, perform wall runs, and use your whip as a vault to perform devastating air attacks. Each battlefield is different than the one before giving you a unique experience every time. Can you take down the giants and save the human race from Extinction?
