Fable Legends Beta Ends in April

<p>Yesterday&comma; the world heard the news that Microsoft <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;fable-legends-cancelled&sol;">had pulled the plug<&sol;a> on <em>Fable Legends<&sol;em> and would soon be pulling the plug on Lionhead Studios&period; Everyone figured that the closed beta would be ending as well&comma; just much sooner rather than later&period; Today I received an email from the <em>Fable Legends<&sol;em> account stating that the closed beta will end April 13&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Players who have already downloaded the Beta will be allowed to continue playing until the cut off date&period; For the players who purchased the in-game gold currency&comma; they will be getting a refund and the in-game bank will be disabled&period; The email also thanked all the players who participated and helped with the creation of <em>Fable Legends<&sol;em>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>I was a lucky recipient of the closed beta and I really enjoyed my time with it&period; I&&num;8217&semi;m not huge into online games anymore after a huge fiasco with<em> Destiny<&sol;em>&comma; but I enjoyed my time immensely&period; In the beta you and four other heroes&comma; either real people or A&period;I&period;&comma; will help with the task of saving Albion again&period; The nice boon with this online game was that I could play the mission with 3 A&period;I&period; characters helping&comma; so I wouldn&&num;8217&semi;t need any friends&period; The beta also dripped of that <em>Fable-<&sol;em>tone and I was super excited to see this come to fruition in a full-fledged game&period; Unfortunately that isn&&num;8217&semi;t going to be the case&comma; but I have some time left with my baby&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>While I&&num;8217&semi;m still heartbroken over the cancellation of this game and the future closure of Lionhead Studios&period; I am happy to know that I can play the beta for about a month more&period; I&&num;8217&semi;d better get to it&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Source&colon; Fable Legends Email<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
