Fairy Tail is Getting Another Light Novel This Fall

Hiro Mashima’s creation, Fairy Tail, will be getting a third light novel to the franchise this year.

Oedo Fairy Tail will launch in Japan on October 2, and will be written by Ren Kanan with Mashima as credited to the art and creation of the series. Two other light novels were previously written by Miu Kawasaki and published by Kodansha- Fairy Tail: The Color Residing Within the Heart (2012) and Fairy Tail 2: Each of the Fighters’ Day After the Grand Magic Games (2014).

The Fairy Tail series began with Mashima’s on-going manga which as lead to two anime, multiple Ovas, light novels, a spin-off manga about Happy, an anime film, and a planned second anime film.
