Gamers of every kind should start saving their pennies now for the heavy-hitters that are still to come this year. Below is a list of confirmed dates so far:
Sleeping Dogs – August 17
Dark Souls (PC) – August 24
Madden NFL 13 – August 28
Far Cry 3 – September 4
Borderlands 2 – September 18
Resident Evil 6 – October 2
BioShock Infinite – October 16
Medal of Honor: Warfighter – October 23
Assassin’s Creed III – October 30
Halo 4 – November 6
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 – November 13
While several other games are set to release in 2012, no release dates have been confirmed. Some of those games are: Skylanders Giants, Aliens: Colonial Marines, Tomb Raider, Dishonored, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, and Brothers in Arms: Furious 4.
It will be interesting to see which games get released in September and October in order to avoid the release date of Call of Duty: Black Ops II. There are also rumors that Grand Theft Auto V may be released sometime this year. With all these games, fall looks to be a very exciting time for gamers.
