Since Fallout: New Vegas hit stores Bethesda has confirmed four DLC packs and released two of them. The first DLC, Fallout: New Vegas ‘Dead Money‘, was released on February 22nd while the second DLC Fallout: New Vegas ‘Honest Hearts‘ hit stores on May 27th for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. Now we’ve learned the release date for Bethesda’s third Fallout: New Vegas DLC installment named ‘Old World Blues’, which is slated for release on July 19th for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
In Fallout: New Vegas ‘Old World Blues’ your character will learn how some of the mutants in the wasteland were created as you too have become an unwitting lab rat in a laboratory experiment that’s gone horribly wrong. It’s up to you to explore the old pre-war research facility known as the Big Empty to find technology to either defeat your kidnappers and escape or to join them to defeat an even greater enemy.
The last announced DLC of the four already announced Fallout: New Vegas add-on’s is called Lonesome Road. The fourth DLC installment was previously planned for a July release and ‘Old Word Blues’ was originally slated to hit stores sometime in June – so , it appears the timetable’s for release of the four DLC’s has already been delayed a bit leaving us to guess that the next DLC will probably hit in August. There is also the remote possibly of another DLC announcement but that speculation may be premature at best. Stay tuned for more updates.
