Far Cry 4 Will Release Next Year And Take Place In The Himalayas

<p>Recently <a class&equals;"zem&lowbar;slink" title&equals;"Eurogamer" href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;eurogamer&period;net&sol;" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank" rel&equals;"homepage">Eurogamer<&sol;a> was able to get their hands on some interesting information regarding the next instalment in the <a class&equals;"zem&lowbar;slink" title&equals;"Far Cry" href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;en&period;wikipedia&period;org&sol;wiki&sol;Far&lowbar;Cry" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank" rel&equals;"wikipedia">Far Cry<&sol;a> franchise&period; Whilst the series so far has taken place in hot&comma; usually tropical environments&comma; the next game will be set in the icy conditions of the Himalayas&period; The gameplay is said to remain very similar to the 3rd game in the series&comma; with many different outposts for players to liberate&period; However it will also feature some new mechanics&comma; perhaps the most interesting being the ability to ride around the world on an elephant&period; Another source&comma; <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;twitter&period;com&sol;supererogatory&sol;statuses&sol;430934112770486272">Superannuation<&sol;a>&comma; revealed on twitter that the game may also feature some monster type enemies for the player to deal with&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Whilst we do not know the exact release date of Far Cry 4&comma; the rumours suggest that Ubisoft wants it in stores before the end of their next financial year&comma; which finishes on March 31 2015&period; At this point an early 2015 release date is said to be more likely than a holiday 2014 one&period;  Expect the game  to be officially announced at E3 for PS4&comma; Xbox One and PC&period; Eurogamer&&num;8217&semi;s sources were unable to confirm whether the game would release for last gen consoles as well&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Alongside Far Cry 4 Ubisoft will also be using E3 to show off more of Tom Clancy&&num;8217&semi;s <a class&equals;"zem&lowbar;slink" title&equals;"The Division" href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;lifetimetv&period;com" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank" rel&equals;"homepage">The Division<&sol;a> and The Crew&comma; as well as revealing more information on the two Assassin&&num;8217&semi;s Creed games slated for this Fall&period; Given the immensely positive reaction to the announcement of The Division last year and to Watchdogs the year before&comma; it is not unreasonable to expect another surprise announcement of some sort&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Via <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;eurogamer&period;net&sol;articles&sol;2014-03-20-far-cry-4-set-in-the-himalayas-has-ridable-elephants">Eurogamer<&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;
