Funcom has just released a trailer debuting a new character, a vixen named Farrow, to join the rag tag team of mutants in their upcoming tactical strategy game Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden.
Farrow will become recruitable once players encounter her while exploring in ‘The Zone’. Her true origins are a mystery, even to herself, all she knows is her name and that she is a product of The Zone.
Farrow will Specialize in stealth and assassination, she will come equipped with skills and gear that make her adept at quickly and quietly dispatching her foes. Her signature ability, Silent Assassin, makes her particularly valuable for initiating combat out of stealth, such as when picking off stragglers.
If you’re not sure what Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is, the game combines turn-based combat like in XCOM with real-time stealth and exploration of a post-human earth. The game is being developed by former HITMAN and PAYDAY lead developers at the game developing studio, The Bearded Ladies, in Sweden and is based on the Swedish pen and paper RPG Mutant .
Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is set to release on PC, Xbox One and PS4 on December 4, 2018 for $34.99. PC player who pre-order the deluxe edition ($54.99) will be given access to play a playable demo, showcasing the first 2-4 hours of the game. Meanwhile Xbox Game Pass members will have access to the full game upon launch.
