It seems that EA has been rumbled as news outlets originally reported over the weekend that FIFA 14 didn’t appear to bring anything new to the series on the Nintendo 3DS and instead only offered minor improvements such as new kits and team sheets, similarly to how the company has handled Wii-editions in the past.
And it seems that they were not wrong in thinking so as a Nintendo press release states:
“FIFA 14 Legacy Edition delivers unmatched authenticity that reflects the current football season with updated kits and rosters but no updates to gameplay or game modes.”
What are your views on this story? Is it right for EA to release what is essentially the same game with something that could be implemented through free downloadable content? Let us know your thoughts over at our Facebook page!
