FIFA 15 Won’t Include Brazilian Clubs

FIFA 15

EA has announced that for this year’s version of their FIFA football game, they were unable to secure the rights for the clubs involved in Brazil’s domestic league, the Campeonato Brasileiro. This is due to a change in the way players are licensed by the league’s managing body. For last year’s FIFA 14, EA had been able to get the rights for 19 Brazillian football clubs including Santos and Vasco de Gama. However, EA was keen to stress that they do still retain the rights to Brazil’s national football team and to Brazilian players in other leagues.

FIFA 15 will be released on September 23 in North America and on September 26 in Europe.
